Drug Screening Policy: As of January 1st, 2016 , Gorman Medical, P.C. is THC (marijuana) free. If your drug screen is positive for THC at the time of visit, the provider will still see you but will NOT prescribe ANY NARCOTIC medications.
If drug screen results are not consistent with providers’ prescription plan, your urinalysis may be sent to the lab for further evaluation at the cost to the patient. Your provider will review the results. Illicit drug use will result in termination from the Gorman Medical clinic. Examples of inconsistent drug screen results include:
- Drug screen negative for medications clinic prescribes.
- Patient tests positive for controlled substances not prescribed by clinic.
- Patient tests positive for illicit substances, ex: cocaine, heroin, PCP, methamphetamine.
